My Summer Villa - Part 1

I purchased thisonderful French inspired home designed by SkyeRyder Varriale - Maison du Coeur (released in 2010).  I love the openness of this home, the high ceilings, rooftop garden, courtyard...I could go on and on.

Awesomeness - iTuTu's Redball Chandelier

If you want something glamorous, simple, sparkling, low prim, inexpensive AND high impact, you will fall in love with this chandelier.

It rotates slowly and adds an incredible glow to the room.

It is only 4 prims, modify (no copy) and best of all - $50L.



My Little Greenhouse

I couldn't resist this little greenhouse from e-brink.  I repurposed it into an aviary.  My favorite piece is the birdcage with Tweety Bird.  This is one of the first pieces I purchased when I discovered Second Life.

While shopping for new birdcages, I stopped by TESH.  I was so upset to learn that Tesh Botanical Gardens doesn't exist in Second Life.  Doing a search in Second Life, i found Blossoms and Blooms & Tesh Garden Center items, owned by Wisteria ( Bougainvillea (133, 205, 24) ).

I was really lacking inspiration, so I pulled out an old Architectural Digest and found a cool, summer room to move me in the right direction.

Then I realized I didn't have enough room accessories, so I went shopping for two days.  I'm finally comfortable with the space.

Scarlet Creative - Summer Sanctuary

I have 5 different Scarlet Creative homes.  I struggled with which one to rez and decorate.  I finally selected "I Fell in Love at the Beach" and put it on a rocky promontory.  I did some major modifications and am pretty happy with the way it turned out.

Since I've been so busy at work, it has taken me awhile.  Today I want to show you the overview and the master bedroom.  Tomorrow, I'll have the living room finished and can show that to you as well.

My Home Office

I am very fortunate to be able to work at home from time-to-time.  I get to drink coffee, listen to good music and kitzle with my dogs.  Life is good!

I love the chairs in this set.  They remind me of a hotel lobby, maybe in a seedy hotel.  I placed them in my POST / Cherbourg Room 8 Hotel Suite (which has some of the most incredible textures and colors i've seen).
