Decadence and Over Indulgence

When I get emails from LTD Magazine, I immediately check it out - in fact it is usually the highlight of my email inbox.

Last week, I read the announcement of the LTD Group Gift (free) from 22769 ~ [bauwerk] called Decadence is Bliss Deco Set.

I have been collecting garage related decor for a long time.  Being inspired by The Liaison Collaborative's August Theme - Route 66 - I pulled out some of my favorites - high prim, no shadows, dodgy textures and full of early inspiration.  I've combined these well loved, older pieces with new offerings from Soy and [Fetch] to capture the feel of a small town gas station/auto repair shop.

Where have all the butterflies gone?

The World Wildlife Fund released this report in January, 2014

"MEXICO CITY (AP) — The number of Monarch butterflies wintering in Mexico plunged this year to its lowest level since studies began in 1993, leading experts to announce Wednesday that the insects' annual migration from the United States and Canada is in danger of disappearing."

For the last several years, reports on bees has been equally glum..they are dying out.

I, for one, am sad to see them go. And so are the bears!

Class Assignment

I'm enrolled in an Interior Design program here in Washington DC.  While I can't use Second Life stylings in my projects and coursework, I can take those same assignments and try them out in Second Life.
